2011 Events Calendar
Monthly Meetings - Meetings are the first Wednesday of every month. 7:30 PM at the Ramada Inn, Triphammer Rd., Lansing. There are no meetings in July and August
Training Night - Monday nights at IRCS field from 6:00 PM until dusk. June 4 - September 17. All members are welcome, but student pilots and their instructors have priority
Club Night - Wednesday nights at IRCS field from 6:00 PM until dusk. June 13 - August 29. Get together with other club members to fly planes, grill hamburgers, and socialize.
Indoor Flying - Tuesday nights at DeWitt Middle School gymnasium (when school is in session) 7 to 9 PM. Spring dates are tentative and depend on availability of the gym.
Snow Fly - January 1 at IRCS field. This has been a tradition for many years.
Annual Dinner - January 14 at Ramada Inn, Triphammer Road, Lansing. A family event - celebrate the end of the old year and the beginning of the new one with your friends in the club
Mall Show - April 14 at Ithaca Mall, Triphammer Rd., Lansing - static display of model aircraft.
Field Opening -April 21 at IRCS field
Open House - June 2 at IRCS field. The public is invited to come to learn about model aviation. There will be flying demonstrations and static displays of models. Guests can try flying a plane using a buddy box system. Snacks and beverages will be available. All AMA members welcome.
Family Picnic - July 21 at IRCS field. Bring family and friends, also a dish to pass or meat to cook on the grill. The picnic begins at noon.
Field Closing - November 10 at IRCS field to prepare the grounds for winter.
